What it is
The Euro Stoxx 50 brings together 50 of the largest companies in eurozone countries, such as ASML, LVMH, SAP, TotalEnergies, Siemens, Santander or Iberdrola. France and Germany weigh the most. It is published in points and without dividends.
What moves it
The European economy, European Central Bank rates, energy prices and exports to the United States and China. It has more banks, industry and energy than US indices and less technology.
How to invest
Through an ETF tracking the Euro Stoxx 50; as it is in euros, there is no currency risk for a eurozone investor.

Which Spanish companies are in the Euro Stoxx 50?
Usually Santander, BBVA, Iberdrola and Inditex, although the list is reviewed every year.
Does it include UK or Swiss companies?
No: only countries that use the euro. For all of Europe there is the Stoxx Europe 600.
Does the Euro Stoxx 50 include dividends?
The index in points does not; there is a total-return version and accumulating ETFs reinvest them.
